Indian fashion jewellery comes in a variety of finishes such as gold  tone, silver tone, mehendi rose tone etc.  These finishes are coatings on top of a base metal and if not taken care they can result in your jewelery looking tired.

Like most costume jewellery & Indian fashion jewelry, they need a little more care since they are adorned with gems and beads.  Good care is essential to maintain the condition of your bollywood costume jewelry for many years to come.

The following tips will help you to keep your jewellery looking its best:

• Store all items in a cool and dry place, and store separately in order to avoid scratching and damage.
• Avoid contact with chemicals such as perfume, deodorant etc.
• Do not use abrasive jewellery cleaners.
• Clean your jewellery with a soft cloth and mild detergent with water if required, rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
• Dry your jewellery with a soft cloth if it gets wet.
• Jewellery should be put on last and taken off first while dressing.
• Never wear your fashion jewellery whilst asleep in bed.

To find out what bangle size you are, just measure across a bangle that currently fits you well.  Bangles should be worn tighter then you would wear a bracelet, this will stop them from slipping off your wrists.
